Cricket World Cup 2023 Schedule

The ICC Cricket World Cup will commence from 5th October 2023 onwards. Yes, the wait is over! The world’s biggest cricket event will see 10 teams battling it out on the pitch to decide who will lift the iconic 13th ICC Cricket World Cup trophy.

The ICC World Cup Super League and Qualifiers decided the final list of 10 teams playing in the world cup.England is this year’s defending champion, playing to retain the trophy, while India will fight to win the trophy in its homeland. The rest includes Pakistan, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, and the Netherlands. The top four teams with the most points will head to the semifinals.

ICC 2023 World Cup Schedule: Qualifier Stage

The 2023 World Cup Qualifiers took place in Zimbabwe to decide the final two teams that would be playing in the Cricket World Cup. The 10 teams for the World Cup were completed, with the final selection of Sri Lanka and the Netherlands during the qualifiers. Sri Lanka also won the qualifier final match, beating the Netherlands to win the World Cup Qualifiers.

ICC World Cup 2023 Warm-Up Matches Confirmed

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has confirmed the official warm-up fixtures for all 10 teams at the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023. The matches will be held from 29 September to 3 October across three venues in India - Guwahati, Hyderabad and Thiruvananthapuram.

The warm-up matches are an important opportunity for teams to fine-tune their preparations for the World Cup. They will also give fans a chance to see their favorite teams in action ahead of the tournament proper.

All 10 teams participating in the World Cup have qualified automatically, based on their ranking in the ICC ODI rankings.
