Although Wankhede Stadium is in Mumbai, which is a coastal city, it only rains in June. April and May are expected to be dry, hot, and humid. That said, the dew factor is likely to play a massive role at Wankhede Stadium and other venues of the IPL 2024.
Due to this, teams bowling second will find it difficult to grip the ball. It becomes challenging for even fielders to throw the ball.
