Noor Ahmad Career Stats
Noor Ahmad is an 18-year-old left-arm wrist-spinner from Afghanistan. This prodigy is just starting his career and has already made an impact in international cricket. Noor had a rough start, hailing from the barren land of Khost Province. His father was not in support of his dreams, and he had to convince him by paying equal attention to cricket and studies. Noor took his first major step towards becoming a cricket in 2018, at the age of 13. He registered for IPL at the age of 14, becoming the youngest player to do so. While the young bowler is yet to win an international trophy for his country, his recent performance in the T20 format has been creating noise in the cricket world.
Noor grew up idolising the captain of the Afghanistan cricket team in the T20I format, Rashid Khan and is now sharing the field with him, putting up outstanding performances. Witness this child prodigy turned into a legendary bowler and place your bets on him with Fun88.

Noor Ahmad Career Stats
Noor Ahmad participated in the open selection trial in 2018, where the Afghanistan Cricket Board was scoping for under-19 talents. Only 15 were included in the squad among the 125 participants. Noor was one of the selected 15 and caught the eyes of former Afghanistan captain Raees Ahmadzai. Raees saw the raw talent in Noor and predicted a bright future for him. In 2019, Noor made his first-class debut and signed up for the IPL auction but didn't get picked by a team until 2021.
Noor didn’t let the IPL rejection ruin his game, as he went on to play in the under-19 50-over Asia Cup the same year. He bowled 10 overs and claimed two significant wickets. His steady growth earned him a spot in Afghanistan’s U-19 World Cup squad in 2020 and again in 2022. His performance in the first World Cup exceeded all expectations, as he picked up seven wickets in five games. His economic rate was 3.93. In the next World Cup, he helped his team reach the semi-finals and became the second-highest wicket-taker.
On the other hand, Noor made a comeback in IPL’s 2021 season, and his records in the recent IPL session have been fantastic. He played 13 matches where he claimed 16 wickets. His overall economic rate is 7.82.
