Mahmudullah T20 Career

Mahmudullah is a seasoned all-rounder who bats in the middle order and bowls a tidy off-spin. In late 2012, Mahmudullah was the star who derailed West Indies to their first ODI series defeat in Bangladesh. However, the later year got worse as he couldn't find his form for five months and was even dropped from the Asia Cup 2014, but eventually, he improved his game and thus proved himself as a preferred choice for his team again.

Before playing in the U15 ACC tournament, Mahmudullah played in the 2004 U19 World Cup in Bangladesh, and a year later, he made his first-class debut for Bangladesh A and spent part of the year in the MCC Young Cricketers in the 2005-2006 season.

Mahmudullah debuted his ODI career in 2007 and was labelled a limited-over specialist. In 2009, he created an eight-wicket haul on his Test debut against West Indies, which led him to a high batting average in the ODI tri-series against India and Sri Lanka. One of Mahmudullah's most telling contributions so far was the 159 runs he made against West Indies in the Bangladesh One-Day International series in 2012. The next few years weren't successful, but after a reasonable performance against Zimbabwe, he received a spot in the Indian World Cup team and confirmed his place. Mahmudullah, at number 7 on the list, is a prolific ODI batsman who has been featured in the Cricket World cup and was named as the vice-captain of Bangladesh Cricket after his performance in the World Cup.
